Just discovered your General Strock image at the super-heroine universe website ,though I was unable to post a comment there. I do want to say that I was able to view the image close-up and am really impressed impressed with level of detail and the way you caught the essence of my fave Fem Forcer in this image .Thank you for that.

Thank you. It was your suggestion that I do a pic of the General that made me do the picture so I am especially glad you like the picture.

Oh Wow ! Thank you for creating this image of General Strock. I really appreciate that you depicted her as a bold confident individual ,able to take care of herself and as a worthy and able military commander and gov't liaison for the Fem Force.
I also appreciate the level of detail you brought to the image- the character's eye colour matches her uniform - her uniform -similar in design to the version used by Brad Gorby ,back when he drew for A.C. comics ( that uniform is a personal fave.) -her cool calm expression and posture (Whatever Roberta is facing in this picture , she is not intimidated . ) - The rather interesting setting for this illo (some sort of secret high-tech communication room?) I have to ask did you have a story or scenario in mind when you created this image?
Anyway thank you again for bringing us this image.

Your welcome I wanted to depict General Strock as a woman who deserves to be there right alongside the superheroines of Femforce. I'm glad you liked the pic. The scenario is simply this, General Strock is about to ruin some evildoer's day. She is an ally of Femforce but she doesn't need them to get the job done.

I agree entirely with your depiction and understanding of the character,as someone who deserves and has earned the right to be there.
As an aside, my own speculations about the scenario were a bit more elaborate.I was postulating that infiltrators or invaders or spies or saboteurs or terrorists had penetrated security at F.F.H.Q. and were trying to get to the most sensitive and secure part of the complex ( to steal data or upload viruses or just to blow it up.) But Roberta confronts them in the doorway and though the General is out numbered and out gunned she has stopped the invaders dead in their tracks .She is not just waiting for the Fem Force to arrive and save the day,she is stepping up and handling the situation. As you say General Roberta Strock does not need the Fem Force to get the job done .
Again it is a great image .Thank you for it.

I like your scenario! It is far better than what I was thinking when I made the image. Your scenario has made me appreciate the picture even more. Thank you.

Your welcome .But keep in mind that it was your excellent and perceptive picture that sparked my speculations in the 1st place.

Thank you Femfan. Supporting characters keep the heroes grounded in reality.

Indeed! I've always liked that AC makes sure even the non-heroes or villains have a defined personality and you feel you get to know them (like General Strock and Janis Lawson).

So do I. General Strock always seemed to be so capable on her own I sometimes wondered how come AC Comics didn't give her her own comic or mini-series.

A mini-series starring General Strock would be great, though I fear it is probably not in the cards right now .But maybe someday, eventually. I note , with interest they are doing with character at AC comics .She has left or is leaving the Army to join the Gov't as the Secretary of State (she see's it as an opportunity to better her country -I think that is an entirely realistic and likely thing for the character to do.) I just hope the writer,s and artists and editor find a way to keep Roberta in the picture and let we fans and readers know what is going on with her and give hopefully give Roberta an ongoing role or a presence or an appearance in the upcoming stories.
I also understand she is getting married .I would really like it if we were kept up date with that aspect of the character's life

So would I. Roberta is one of the few supporting characters in comics that is usually depicted realistically. I believe that is because her writers truly respect her character. The problem I see in other comic companies is they hire a writer who believes the best way to generate sales is to kill off a character that has been around for decades (Brian Bendis)or completely do away with decades of a characters history in order to hook new readers while alienating faithful old readers. One thing I like about AC Comics is their dedication to the rich histories of the Femforce characters, I mean they could have "modernized" Yankee Girl and the others but they chose to say Yankee Girl and the others were the original characters from the golden age who were revived in modern times. No new earth, no new incarnation of the superhero, no killing for the sake of sales. Just pure fun and rich history (AND drop dead gorgeous superheroines).

I concur .One of the things I first noticed about A.C. comics after I started reading the title (and continue to like best about it )is that the people who produce the title care as much about the characters as we, the fans do.That is very rare in comics today ,I think.
Also ,as you say the creative folks at A.C.H.Q. have not gone in for whatever is currently trendy or popular(remember Bad Girl Stories or those grim and gritty[morally dead] stories).Instead they have given us engaging characters, that we care about and interesting stories that leave us wanting to know "what happens next.and also as you say "drop dead gorgeous heroines.
