Description
Some artwork for Industrial band Chemlab's new album. The title of the album "Machine God Down" carries so much imagery alone that this was literally what popped in my head. This is hands down EXACTLY what I sought out to make.

The crucifixion pose is something that is burned into everyone's minds when we think of godhood. The figure also carries no exact gender as we interpret god in whatever form we want. And the obvious wires and circuits show the figure underneath isn't human but more man made. The title of the Machine God DOWN also shows the once prominent figure has been cast down with the scrap that created it.

By far this is the most thought out work I've created yet. Regardless if this is used as a cover art or not I'm very proud of this piece. Hope everyone enjoys it!
