Description
This is just a bit of fun, it's an exploration of how Sydney's trains might look if the Public Transport Commission (PTC) had never given way to the State Rail Authority, and eventually to RailCorp. The PTC existed in the 1970s, and among other wonderful accomplishments, it brought to Sydney's trains a horrific blue and white livery, which you can see for real over on wikipedia: [link]
I extended the idea and applied the livery to a modern train. Note I've gone out of my way to not streamline the panelling or in any way make the train look cool or interesting. I wish I'd been able to continue the white lines from the front along the sides and through the window area as the old PTC single-decker trains appeared, but the double deck window arrangement made this awkward, and hey, it's just a joke anyway.
If you're curious about the fate of the blue and white colour scheme, it survives in a vestigial state in the blue and white colouring of Sydney's buses.
Enjoy.

it looks pretty good but the front is too reflective compared to the rest of the train.

And I thought I had too much time on my hands Russ. Though I do like the blue & white livery in a weird sort of way.

It kinda makes me think the train should taste like peppermint, or something.

You usually can see through the driver's windows on these trains. Although they're never this *clean*. Heheheh.

It's fairly crudely modelled by eye and ray-traced.
