Description
Saturday morning sweetness from the 1960s. The floating redhead is Gravity Girl of the Galaxy Trio from Birdman. The blonde with the slingshot is Tara from The Herculoids. And the young blonde with the mask is, of course, Jan from Space Ghost. All three shows came from Hanna-Barbara and the characters were all designed by Alex Toth. This trip down Memory Lane made possible by

Very nice
Well Done
A bit of a Blast from the Past
I recognize Tara from the Herculiods ( though I do not recall her using a sling shot ) and Jan from Space Ghost ( the" shiny" effect on her uniform was a nice touch ) Gravity Girl ( ( from the Galaxy trio was new to me so I had to do some research
All the ladies look good in their outfits and their stances and poses really" work "in this image
I note that the rescue seems to be a work in progress
Tara and Gravity Girl and Jan are not" out of the woods" yet
I note Tara is leading the way and has taken careful aim ( as evidenced by her "focused" facial expression and has let fly a stone from her slingshot Given the missile's upward trajectory I am thinking she is looking to take down a tall guard - or maybe to knock out a security/ surveillance camera Her stance/ looks to be perfect for her task / pose
Gravity Girl is transporting / levitating Jan to freedom I note the young lady is still bound hand and foot and so can not move under her own power Perhaps her wrist and and ankle bonds have some sort of magnetic / electronic/ cyber component which the rescuing ladies ladies can not over come , hence Jan is getting a " free ride " which the "Space Teen" is finding a bit disconcerting ( judging by her facial expression ) which is another nice touch
But I also imagine Jan is very Grateful to the women for the rescue
Gravity Girl is concentrating on keeping herself and her " cargo" aloft and moving forward I suspect this takes a lot of concentration and so she is grateful that Tara is" clearing the road for her and Jan "
Great work
Thank you for sharing

Glad you liked it. Originally Jan wasn't going to be tied up but flying via her jet pack. But I didn't want to have to buy a jet pack just for a character I may, or may not, use only once. So I had him tie her up and make the picture look like a rescue operation. Gravity Girl is "carrying" Jan to safety whilst Tara lays down cover fire with her exploding "energy rocks." (She does use the slingshot during the opening of the show where she and Dorno ride Zok.)

It is a Great picture
I appreciate the" real reason" back story on the picture
I had also for gotten about the explosive capacity of Tara's ammunition
Hope everything I speculated made sense
Thank you again for sharing your work

Sweet. I remember Cartoon Network airing episodes of Space Ghost. If Adam West had voiced Space Ghost, I would have watched it a lot more as a kid.

I always thought Space Ghost looked like Batman without the ears and Jan and Jace were his Robins.

I agree. Space Ghost did look like Batman. I never paid much attention to his sidekicks.
