Yet another bit of Homestuck fanart I got permission to colour. In this case, it comes from a member of the official art team, Leppu, and I was greatly honoured to have the chance to sit down with her line art and bring it to life.Now everyone pester her to do a red team piece that I can colour, too!

We are hosting a Homestuck Contest right now, and i was wondering if you could be so kind as to join in. On the Red team preferably!
The two teamsHello All my Homestuck Peeps! Today we will be starting the two teams, red team and the blue team. This is in relation to the Red and Blue teams in the Homestuck series.
Rules:
- In the span of 4 weeks, the Red and Blue teams will draw as much Fan Art as they can. Whichever team Draws the most, wins.
- Please comment which team you want to join. I will be the Team Captain of the Red team, and my Co-founder (OL1V3 ) will lead the Blue team.
- All art must be submitted to the gallery in their correct folder, either Blue or Red depending on your team.
- The winning team will earn a art commission of all their Oc's drawn by me. And the one who contributed the most in each team will be allowed to become a Co-Founder.
- If anyone wants to add a prize, that would be splendid! We need as much prize as we can get, whether it is points, or art, or anything else!
So get out your art tools, invite friends, and get drawing!

Well, her hair gets all in everything, doesn't it? I'm actually given to wonder if Leppu's decision to draw it this way was informed by artwork of the Condesce we'd seen up to that point. It certainly seems more in keeping with her than with Feferi herself.

Well, that's easy. I used a shitty mouse I found in the garbage, hooked up to a ten year old laptop running Photoshop 7 on Windows 2000. With cutting-edge technology like that, ANYONE could have done it!

Yeah, one of these days I'll break down and get one of those new-fangled tabletey deals. I've been using a mouse for so long, though, that the idea of having to re-learn all those skills is a little daunting.

I did compare tablet-coloring and coloring with a mouse. You won't have to re-learn, and the former is so, so much easier T_T

Well, maybe I'll look into that in my next paycheque or two. My biggest issue right now is that I do most of my colouring while I'm out and about on my crappy old laptop, and I have my doubts about whether my ancient software or hardware could handle any moderately recent hardware of that type. I would probably wind up needing to get a new laptop as well...
