Another little update, this time adding the panelling to the bridge deck section, plus (what you cannot see here), making the front bar of the nacelles have the white-grey-ish standard hull colour and adding the ridges to the impulse crystal housing.

No. In the TMP era, this style of nacelle glowed only in the inside. The outside panel was black/dark grey.
In the TNG era, both sides glowed, though.
Look at the TMP Enterprise to see it doesn't glow:

This is a warship. She's the USS Polaris, Snegurochka class light cruiser of the United Earth First Fleet, not some fancy Starfleet joyride. She's a dedicated war machine, without any Starfleet hypocricy to call her an Escort or something.

Lol, good. It's always annoyed me that the Federation Flag ship wasn't even a war ship! It annoyed me even more when it was able to hold it's own against warships of greater size, such as the D'Deridex class.
