Description
Third in my "Tulips" series. 8x8 inches acrylic on canvas. Entirely painted with pallet knives. An imagined field of tulips - "Carmine" is just the colour of paint I used on the flowers.I am still trying out my impasto technique. Some of the ridges in this are 3mm deep!

Thank you! I am still developing my style, and I learned a lot through doing this. It often ends up with as many "accidents" as intended parts, but it is fun seeing just how much paint you can get to stick to a canvas!
