Thank you! The reference photo is in my gallery - I didn't make the main daisy quite bigh enough, but it was good fun. Achieving the impasto yellow centre was a challenge with student quality oil pastels, but I've purchased some better ones now.

cool sounds like you had fun... I like to draw and then see while youre doing it that it looks good... you just get like um satisfaction or something ...

Thank you! I only did the acrylic layer as I didn't have any dark green pastel paper, but acrylic gesso and paint have provided a good tooth and base colour for this one.

Thanks Nadia. I wanted the background really dark, but didn't want to use black, so it is crimson blended with various dark greens.

oh cool...yea i love the effect a little crimson can have on shades of green. my painting teacher loved to use it for landscapes last semester im glad u went for it and its awesome for a pastel...u're getting good! i havent had time/energy to draw for a while
i just started a new job. but hopefully will have time eventually!
