4th in my Tulips series. Cryla acrylics on stretched canvas, painted with a pallet knife. 8x8 inches. The flowers are painted in "Lemon Yellow". Photo taken in strong sunlight to bring out the impasto texture.I think I'm improving - let me know what you think!

Great use of the palette knife on this one for textures.I especially like the textures/colours and waving of the flowers in the breeze they all add life to the flowers.You talent in painting shows simple thing like flowers can be amazing.The realism you bring to your Art is wonderful. Keep them coming.

Thanks MG! Yes, I'm still finding the subject of simple flowers with heavy impasto lots of fun! It's great to have discovered a medium (heavy bodied acrylic) that can produce texture so easily. Hope to do some more soon...
