Description
An acrylic knife painting I made for my mum for mother's day. Cryla acrylics on stretched canvas, painted only with knives. 8x8 inches. Colours used were Ultramarine, Titanium white, Bismuth yellow, Pyrrole red, Phtalo turquoise.Let me know what you think!

It's nice how the shape of the acrylic held, usually when I try with acrylic, it goes flat . Anyway, nice job contrasting the cool colors with the tulips!

If the acrylic you are using goes flat it is probably because it is either fluid acrylics (i.e. acrylic designed to be very soft or self-leveling) or possibly just low quality acrylic. I'd highly recommend getting some heavy body acrylic of a good brand (e.g. Golden, Cryla, W&N, Liquitex etc). What paint are you using?

The last type I used was my high school's paint, which I think was Liquitex.
