Description
This artwork was a collaboration with my 7 year old son. He saw some craft in a shop and really wanted to do his version. It definitely had to have 5 hearts, and they had to be held up on poles...

So, I used a jigsaw to cut the 5 shapes from a piece of timber (pine, from an old bookcase) sanded it down, then we painted them all with white gesso. The rectangles were there painted with acrylics in the brightest colours we could find. It took a long time (months!) but was great fun!
