since Parliament reminds me of the Revolutionary War, this seems to me more an abstract of Fort Sumter actually. A collage of the burning fort and missles, the soldiers fighting, the reflection on the water.... its astounding how many ways this can be interpreted.... nice colors..... overall excellent

Thank you! Yes, I'm sure this image can mean lots to different people. It is actually a view of a factual event which Turner witnessed, when parliament really did burn down. I think they had some sort of accident in the boiler room...

Thank you! I guess it depends on which reproduction of the original you are looking at - I found a high quality photo on the internet, and this is pretty similar, but I do tend to go for maximum vibrancy!
