Description
a silent and cutting remarkletting out a quiet scream
i am not living this nightmare
i am just having a bad dream
just a way of coping
of getting the pain inside
to the outside
these marks do not show
how many times i have felt the pain
just how many times i have expressed it
i can cover
i can hide
but it is better outside
than inside
if everything beneath the skin was perfect
this probably wouldn't happen
there is no such thing as perfection
just different levels of distress

ooh so vibrant I think the 'horizon' might need the slightest adjustment though?

why do you think it needs adjustment?

It seems lower on the right side? Or is it just the darker colours there making it seem that way?

i am not interested in perfection
often creating tensions with art is more desirable
and more interesting
we look for imperfections
it is how we recognise things

True. I know I particularly look for imperfections, but then I'm an almost pathological perfectionist

i look for imperfections too, but only because they are more interesting... perfection in imperfection

I certainly agree with humans! Flaws make people interesting I think. I guess that can extend to all things in life

there is something wrong about perfection
maybe it is unremarkable, maybe it doesn't exist
a lie, a pretense... it's unnatural
something that we learn not to strive for
and then strangely... attain

See for me perfection is a goal. It's an approach that often fails in life but does wonders in my career

it's an approach that drives you forwards
onwards to where you are going
good luck
