Description all of our games
are about winning
beating an opponent
gaining the upper hand
triumph, glory and skill
destroying the enemy piece by piece

why don't we have any games
where the objective is to make peace
bring about harmony and well being

it is just not in our nature?
or has no one ever really thought about it

if it were about survival of the fittest or the strongest
surely leopards are fitter and lions are stronger
and if it were about being cleverer... then surely things would be better

i don't know what it's about
maybe it's just about playing games
and winning

so few win
so many lose
it's not a level playing field

This is an awesome photo, I love how the floor sort of matches the wall and the tones in it... do you mind if I use it as part of my artist research for my photography coursework? I'm doing shadows, but found a wall recently that cast a shadow pattern much like a draughts board, so now i'm trying to link other photographers to my work.

Interesting that your 'chess board' has no pieces in place. Did everyone lose or did the players get bored of opposing each other?

an empty chessboard is like a blank canvas
either the game has not started or the pieces are left to your imagination

As a matter of fact, this is a coincidence, because Iยดm playing some chess games with my PC, and Iยดm always loosing

i used to, and found how to beat the computer
but the same technique never worked against humans
computers they always make the same moves
and when you have them beat....
