this is a test.It is one of three or four proposals for a book cover. I felt like posting it to see if people like it, dislike it or have any suggestions. Other ideas did not have enough substance to become something worth sharing.

I thought it was very cool, but if the book isn't contra-oppressive or political, it would be kind of lost.
Am I right in thinking that the black part in the middle is going to be where the book is folded so that the hand is on both sides? That might not work out when it comes to reading the text on the back.

hm, the book is gonna be in a whole different format. This is actually the whole front cover but unfortunately right now I haven't done anything for the back. As for any text, I don't know what they'll write on it but it won't be long..probably a short phrase or even just a word or two.
As for the hand, I have no idea who's hand this is.
