I remember reading in the Return of the Jedi novel that the Skyhopper air speeder can be modified for space combat, and that the Rebel Alliance had a few in service before the Battle of Endor.

Here I sought to modified it into a fully capable starfighter, incorporating some designs from the X-wing. Still this has to be the most bizarre design I've come up with.
