It's a few pieces, the main body and the foot were made separately and bonded cold (as the glory hole was nowhere near deep enough to fit it all in otherwise) and then there are two stoppers, a black on that fits into the transparent blue one that fits into the vessel. It was supposed to have another fitted blue piece in the join to balance out the top but it broke and I was rushing a deadline. (the rest of it broke when a gallery in Toronto snapped it in half unpacking it, forcing me to send its rather nicer successor which I hadn't had time to photograph... which they lost... and didn't pay me for ether... or shipping... jerks.)

That is a true horror story if I ever hear one... there was nothing signed about damages etc? But I guess the artist is often at the disadvantage when it comes to negotiating, if not at the mercy of galleries... speakers @ my school said that.
