Hi Whitlam ....had the feeling you brought up on Maurice Sendak books - how nice to see someone thinking out-of-the-box. There are fantasy imprints that might be interested - check out John Howe's links - but colour costs money, sadly. The direction of art these days an interesting one - check out the Saatchi on-line gallery as well. But making a living from art still presents problems, sadly.
But bravo you! Keep me posted on your next exhibition - mishi.bellamy@googlemail.com
My daughter's at City College Manchester, doing New Media - be good for her to see something other than Photomanips.....!

Thank you for your kind words. I didn't know the name Maurice Sendak, but I recognised his work when I googled it - perhaps I should try to illustrate children's books - other people have suggested it as well.
I shall let you know when I next have an exhibition, but there's nothing in the pipe-line at the moment. I agree it's very difficult to make a living as an artist. After nearly a decade of hard work I still don't earn enough to live on. Having said that, there's one thing I've found even harder than making a living as an artist, and that's making a living as anything else! There's more work on the way, stay tuned.
