It is a great suit. I wonder if it will kit bash well with your other creations. Regardless, another day 1 acquisition.

You're very welcome!
Hehehe! There is always so much to do because we 3D people have to wear so many hats,
learn so many different skills to achieve what we want. All the nitty-gritty things that take
time and patience to learn!

too right...although i'm slowly finding i don't have to refer to my notebook of many notes to create things now...they're slowly sinking in..

You know you're making progress and things are beginning to make sense when you don't have to
refer back to your notes. Though those notes are a lifesaver when you've been away from art for
any length of time and you open the programs and you're left feeling like Gandalf, "I have no memory
of this place."

Will the facial scarring shown in your earlier pics be an option?

I use Blender and I highly recommend it. The sculpting tools, while no where near Zbrush's level, are actually quite good.

I like this combo, the boots are a bit too pristine, but overall she looks really cool! The hair fits nicely!

thank you.. i need to invest in a few more items really...until i learn to speed up with the creation of my own clothes but as you well know..it's not that simple, you must have some serious patience..
can i ask what programs you use to model? i've got the cheap and cheerful programs like hexagon and carrara which in all honesty aren't too bad once you know what you're doing...zbrush works a different way to what i'm used to so it's not as easy to create certain things...great for sculpting..

We've literally always used Maya and ZBrush, which complement each other quite nicely (at least now, when we started compatibility between tools was an headache, also with Poser into the equation...!).
We have never used Carrara or Hexagon so it's even hard to compare.
Yes, ZBrush has his own mind, people manage to do anything with it, so it's probably just a matter of tuning to it, but a traditional modelling software is still useful if not essential.

i hear quite a bit about maya and 3ds Max...the price scares me a bit! but i may check out a trial and see what i think. might just have to get my head down a bit and get a bit more involved with zbrush..

Yep, they've always been the high-end tools, kind of in competition before Autodesk aquired Maya too and they became more kind of cousins.
Both are pretty well rounded, with a different approach though, I guess that is why they were both kept and developed.
The price has always been steep too, but in 15 years we probably upgraded 3 times, now though, is more kind of a ransom and that's definitely not the kind of money you can afford without having a safe return on such investment .
