Thanks Edie!

That was one of my first month devs on dA
I wrote it specifically for an "Art Jam" hosted by my very first friend here, ~Angel-Bella-Donna . Von is also the friend who made my avatar and stamp for me.

I wrote that in about an hour and it's basically a factual account of a night in December of 1976.

I just finally got around to editing the font type and color and making a minor change to the text.

This poem is so very beautiful and full of hope and new faith. Definitely a fav! I love the stained glass angel with this too...but then again, I am a fan of visually supported or inspired poetry...

that's beautiful...

a couple spelling errors tho... burden not burdon.
and instead of "i joyfully woke" i think it'd sound better as "with joy i awoke" personal opinion but i think it flows better what with where the emphasis falls, it follows the meter more. it's lovely, usually a repeatition to that extent would annoy me, but in this case it's not a repetition, really, it's a whole new idea... i love it.

Thank you!

Two spelling errors corrected, guess if I'm going to write at 2am I should at least do one spell check
Actually I had plenty of time to notice that the next night while I was putting it together with the pic.
On your second point you are probably correct..... it does sound better as you suggested, but this was a spontaneous poem and that's how it flowed from me to paper.

You did that for the Art Jam … thank you so much
This must have been written from the heart, there’s no other way you could have created a more touching work of art

Thank you!
95% of my poetry is from the heart and very personal, probably 80% will never be seen by anyone other than me.
