Description
A fellow writer and myself were haggling over what Scarlet might wear in her original HFL character, something she'll wear at first in the Remix comic, and we came up with this. Normally, she's barefoot, but Jim would suggest she wear shoes. "Wouldn't want mah dainty feet to get cut by God knows what's lyin' around on the sidewalk, wouldn't ah?"Related content

There's no way an outfit like that would make it past the PTA. Let alone Scarlet's chest size.
And while your partner has a very good reason for rejecting the idea of her not going barefoot, but given she is a living costume, there is nothing to prevent her body having been designed to take that kind of abuse. After all, park walkers have to deal with glass and know knows what else in reality.
And she doesn't look much like a cop or detective whose character diorama was to chase a rabbit gentleman thief (fox/rabbit thing was clever by the way) with all the effectiveness of Elmer Fudd.

Word of advice, instead of phonetically spelling a character's accent... you should really just state the character has said accent, and leave it as that. The reader can imagine it for themselves.
The only phonetically spelled accent in writing I can stand is the Jaegermonsters from Girl Genius... since they're multiple levels of awesome.

I think he's going for the Bunnie Rabbot aproach, so that the reader is always aware of the differences...
...or he just likes to do it!

Still doesn't excuse hard-to-read dialogue. Even in the Sonic comics, Bunnie Rabbot's accent wasn't too impenetrable, if I can recall correctly.

Yeah, I tend to agree with you there.
