Just a quick illustration to bring in the new year. (2014) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Shredder vs. Wolverine. Pencils and inks were done with Manga Studio 5EX and the colour was done with Adobe Photoshop.Related content

Interesting idea which you have here! Very interesting idea here, but as skilled as Oroku Saki is here-- the Adamantium bones combined with the healing make Wolverine too much for most human opponents to handle. However there is a possibility that Saki can win, but it's a very slim chance. Wolverine's bones are coated with adamantium, but not the soft tissue which happens to be his tendons-- especially his vertebrae. So unless Saki can slice between the vertebrae with his wristblades and tear the head apart from the spinal cord, Wolverine pretty much wins this.

Good point, I often thought of how it would all play out in my head while illustrating it. It was very hard for me to vision ways that Oroku Saki would win. Not unless we brought Wolverines power level down to a street level ability and not the over the top Marvel style.

If Shingen's samurai skills had nothing for Wolverine in the end, I don't think Shredder has much of a shot either.

Indeed, it is a great piece. Sometimes I hate how overpowered Wolverine is often written in comics and movies. It's like he really doesn't even have to be "the best there is at what he does" so long as he's unbreakable and almost immortal.

I agree there, I don't like the "terminator" aspect that they over use.
