birthday present for a friend..good fun doing this one, she choose the picture - and i liked the different angle and the way the light reflects off the hair.
tech info:
A4 - bristol board
mech pencil 0.5 mm - 2H & H
graphic pencils 2B and 4B
kneaded and electric erasers
time taken: about 15 hours

That's a great portrait, and a very nice present. Love the way you caught the global tenderness, smile and smiling eye. The hair on her cheek is perfect.

thats pretty much the only reason I do it, because everyone else considers it to be the wrong thing to do. Plus i like the way it makes the drawing 'pop' out at you.
