I love the grainy (or is it better to say granular ?) look in this ! It gives that special effect that it seems to be something you can really touch and feel.

It's actually intentional. Using chaotica I added a little bit more gamma and I saved the render within minutes of rendering. Too early to much grain. to late, a really smooth effect. It's calculated and really depends on what you want. I have a love hate relationship with chaotica. So I'm still learning.
