More fun with dialogue. I almost want to have Vector scream out curse words everytime he gets his butt kicked. But it's so cheap. I'm actually more fond of symbols and creative placement of censor bars when it comes to something that could, theorhetically, be a kids' comic. I just started reading your comic, I think it's Great so far. Here's the thing, I first started getting in to comics when I found The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Later on I got my first Knuckles The Echidna By Archie. I found it at the groshery store when my Mom went And she let me get it, Knuckles The Echidna Issue NO.5 SEPT. The Knuckles Series was also my introduction to Sonic The Hedgehog Series, I have grown to LOVE them Both verry much! I often reread the comics that I have collected ( It is quite the Collection! ) So it is AWSOME to be able to read comics online!

The top left panel with Vector smacking Ruby with his tail looks especially awesome to me for some reason. Vector just looks too cool. ^_^

How did you manage to snatch a job with archie comics?Just curiouse, cause it would be cool to work for them. I like the coloring, it's so nice and vibrant.

Ken Penders had a casting call on his message board one day. I responded, along with a bunch of other Sonic fans and very talented artists, and got the job. Kinda the easy way in I spoze.

So, how do you know when he has another casting call, and what does he look for?

Well, Ken himself no longer works at Archie, but there's always the old fashioned way of getting in: submitting your stuff to them. I recommend sending them completed pages of story with dialogue, etc, and staying away from "pinups". You may get in, you may not, but don't get discouraged if you're turned down at first. It's actually a pretty tricky company to get into.

I really like the way athe angle of Vector's Face both mirrors and directs the eye to Ruby's upturned face in the last panel. Spiffy.
Gezz Ruby's commin off as bitchy, but I think that's a prerequisite for newly introduced echidnas ^__^

Seriously though, this is my favorite of all three pages so far...but whats going on? Why are they on Ruby's island? Where's Knuckles? Will these questions be answered or are you gonna leave some of us hanging? (Does that sound rude? I'm sorry if it did, I got chewed out the other day for asking an artist a question.)

Excellent! Awesome work on page three. Vector always talks too much for his own good. That's why it's always funny to see him get kick to the curve...especially by Ruby. Ruby is someone not to mess with. Your comic is awesome and impressive, Dawn.

Nice comic so far Dawn, only thing that bugs me is the area between page 2 and 3, Vector just seems to pop out of nowhere for me, maybe an extra panel of a shot of ruby looking behind her in suprize would fix that up. But other than that this is looking great so far, love the vectorized panel where she threatens to eat charmy!
Though I don't want him eaten, he's too cute for that, maybe just have ruby tear out his throat! Seriously, the voice he has in the games annoys me! Other than that, this story is looking good so far, reminds me of the sonic comics of old (don't get me wrong now, I loved your stuff in the comics, but I've lost intrest in sonic and focused on publishing my own works.). Anywho, keep drawing won't ya? Keep it up or something?

I think that may be why I like the Chaotix so much. They're so diverse in species that you can have alot of fun with each, visually. Since I'm writing this time, that extends into the script as well.

swearing is good, just not in excess, they're just words. if used sparingly, they make the dialog more realistic as in real life, if someone got hit, they'd be like "..FUCK YOU" then attack, if they had enough time to say it. ;X

And Vec swearing? Somehow I understand the satisfaction of having the Chaotix swear at random intervals. Funnily enough, I did expect a little more of that kind of thing in comics. Guess the ol' symbols and censor bar will do the trick too *smiles*
