Description
This is my entery for 's contest "how did Raigho met Jera"Basicly Jera picks a fight with a higher ranked wolf from her origonal pack and is beaten and left for dead. Raigho smelling the blood tacks her done thinking he's going to find an easy meal. When he sees that its actully an injured wolf he offers the poor creature some help, and she returns the favor by snapping at him and calling him names. Raigho only laughs at her and finds her some food and helps her regain her strangth despite her persistant threats and protests. Soon after spending a couple months with each other they learn to like each other and even latter love each other.
I'm pretty proud of this picture, i think i got the hang of her style of backgrounds, and had a bit of fun while doing so ^^

I like the idea, but wasn't Jera supposed to have a better attitude before she lost two of her pups? Any way I still thinks its a great idea though, and I love the way you drew this too.

When I saw this I thought it was akroen's work then saw your avatar becuase I was confused, lol! This is amazing, it looks just like the comic and the background style like is very good. I also like how that gust of wind comes in while she's talking making it seem forever and how raigho is so quite and his look just cracks me up!

Aw I like your entry, I hope you win, it seems the most logical of any I've seen.
One critique is that since Jera is female, she should be slightly smaller than Raigho. Here she looks bigger. (So just scale is off.)

I think this is amazing really. ^^ Fantastic job. You've captured the style perfectly!
The only critique I can give is on anatomy. A wolf's neck isn't like a dogs, they can't raise it as high like Raigho is. Or at least that's what I'm told. xD It doesn't really matter tho'. People don't really bother about that, I don't tbh.

Oh my gosh, I love love stories about argumentative people. 
You ask for critique, but the only thing I can really pick on is that Raigho's face seems a bit misaligned with the rest of his head, like maybe it could be tilted and moved "up" a little more. The whole thing is gorgeous anyway, though.
Only if you have time I'd be interested to hear how you lined and colored the wolves and then differentiated them from the background...it sort of looks like you used a pen or pencil and just did another layer (set to "multiply") over the lineart to color the wolves, but when I try to do that, it's always a total youknowwhat to put the background around the lineart without blending the coloration of the animal with whatever kind of background you're trying to do.

ok this is what i did:
I took my sketch scanned it into photoshop, pressed down on ctrl L (at the same time) a window pops up.
If you mess around with the settings in the window you can change the contrast of your sketch, so i made the white parts even whiter so that when i used the wand tool it would select everything (or close to everything) around my sketch. then after i get the contrast to be what i want, i go ahead and make a new layer ontop of the sketch, set it to multiply, then color in the character, disregarding the outline of the character compleatly. For this stratadgy its actully best to go outside of the lines
