One week's worth of research on artist's works, said Potion Master's pictures, and alchemy stuff. As well as the flora adorning the circle behind. It's monkshood, and I'm sure anyone who's read HP recognizes it's significance. I also did some research on the flower's meanings and it is right here.

Exellent Mucha-style! His hair is curly for an image of Snape, but understated for an image by Mucha, so it works. Love, love the monkshood circle. His accessories -- the bottles, the cloth in his hand -- amazing!
His fingers are just a little too thin.

I got a little carried away with the curls, his hair's supposed to be greasy and limp, I know. *shakes head* As for his fingers, hehe, if you've seen my other works I've never been good at hands, ah well. ;D I suppose I'll have to 'thin' the rest of Snape next time!

well, I do declare, the detail, right down to the cloth inside the box of bottles is quite amazing. I'm envious.
I think he's cute - and why should the potions master not look good-looking? plenty of people ship him with Hermionie, of all people. (that concept scares me a little - he taught her, for chrissake. he called her an insufferable know it all! why she'd even like him would be madness in my eyes, unless he used his sneaky potions on her morning pumpkin juice. )

okay, long time, journal with no answers and stuff, bah, long story is no time to answer comments as marvelous than yours, and a low point of my drawing ability.
so yes, it's gorgeous, but ... what is epicene? and I can say he's cute, Rickman is too old to be "fit."
and as for non - canon... I remember seeing all those Rip Van Winkle X Alucard things you did - it was like having a birthday in september or something (mine is december, what about you?)
