This is my entry for Phaserunner's "Finish my Artwork" contest where we had to work on the same baseplate, a man looking at a mountain.I first thought about making a Shadow of the Colossus-themed artwork but I thought a lot of people would have the same idea and execute it better. This one takes its original inspiration from "Goliath" music video by Woodkid. Then it echoes with what I saw during my experience as engineering student with what is considered as "improving" the way companies are organised. There are less and less laborers, replaced by engineers and quality controllers, putting more and more pressure on them as they are being assessed by the "top". If you take a step back and address the issues of being part of that, you're considered as an extremist.
On the technical side, I wanted to break the perspective of the provided image to add depth but ended up having a very hard time matching it along with scales. Some details might seem off and I'd appreciate to have your thought on that
