I started reading bunches of Nuzlocke comics over the weekend, and I got hooked. They're so hilarious and emotionally charged all at the same time, and I decided I wanted to do my own.
I tried to play through a Nuzlocke a while back and ragequit when I lost my Meowth. I thought that maybe if I document and draw my adventures this time, I'll have more fun with it and get into the challenge more.
And thus I begin.

Gary freaking Oak kept getting lucky with critical hits when he battled me and destroyed both my Squirtles, Kereo and Kereo Jr. I finally gave up and picked Charmander instead, and finally I could progress. button mashing through the beginning isn't so fun.

So. This is my first comic. And I have discovered, much to my chagrin, that I don't know how to draw action scenes, backgrounds, perspective, angles other than head-on or profile, and I don't know how to keep my art consistent from panel to panel in general. Or even how to make the panels themselves of similar shape, size, and placement. >.>
On the bright side, I kinda know where to put all the shading. :3 And I expect everything else to improve as I go along.

P.S. - Oak, being in children's beds is creepy, no matter whether it's a boy or a girl.
