Description Hi!

This is a shading placement tutorial for people who ain't sure where to place the shading of a character or what color to choose when the light source has a different color.

If you need a more detailed description or you have a few other questions to this subject, please don't hesitate to ask me
I will try to fix the tutorial for better comprehension.

This is pretty much exactly the tutorial I've been looking for for a long time! All I could find was tutorials that showed you how to make shading effects but not where you actually would place the shading depending on the light source and its direction. Thanks again, this is really helpful!

This is great! Shading is very difficult. Look at m shading practice on a in my gallery. It's pathetic, and that's only a sphere! Though I would find a colored pencil shading guide very helpful. Do you know of any good guides detailing shading with traditional art?

On the Phoenix Ash Opening you posted on Newgrounds, it looked like he wasn't wearing any pants, but now I can see that he is.

I'm trying out the back-lit method right now. I have to say the way I'm doing it, the results are mixed, but I don't see a lot of people doing that, so that's something. I can show it to when I'm done if you like.
