Rendered in Daz Iray: The Darth Vader recently ported (for G8m) from Jedi: Fallen Order game by Shinteo
vs the version of Darth Vader that I cobbled together previously with a G2m figure. The helmet, collar, belt and chest-box on the latter being from www.vanishingpoint.biz/freeite… The suit being an adapted version of the biker leathers from Wimapsdigitalcreations Finding a suitable cloak for that one proved difficult. Here he has a cloak borrowed from a batguirl outfit (hardly visible in the sample image), at other times I use the cloak from the Dark Man suit. Obviously the cloak on the shinteo G8m Vader figure is greatly superior.

Had to modify the textures on the shinteo vader helmet to make it shiny (removing the glossy colour, and dialling down the glossy roughness). Will need to adapt it further to make the collar and shoulder pieces shiny. I think I prefer the overall helmet shape of the older figure, and with the helmet being a static object in that case it is not inclined to distort when the figure is posed, which happens somewhat with the G8m version- particularly around the lower rim.

The same goes for the chest box, which also looks a tad too large on the newer figure, so I might see if I can hide that on the newer figure and use the old version's box as well as the old helmet.

Morphing the G8m figure can creates some distortions with the shinteo version's suit, so it would have been nice if a suitably shaped figure were provided with that one rather than only the suit. Other than that it's very nice work, the result of a very tricky looking procedure to adapt the game format figure to a daz-compatible rig.
