Invader Zim was cancelled in 2004... the same year the SpongeBob movie came out. It isn't his fault— the style of Invader Zim was just too dark and mature for the children watching Nick.

I love spongebob, but only the old episodes. The new ones..freak me out. Don't get my wrong, some of em were funny, like the caveman episode.. xDD but i remember watching Invader Zim when I was younger. I grew up on Zim AND spongebob, so I can't truly pick a side..

both were awesome cartoons, but Invader Zim was canceled because Jhonen Vasquez drawing's were too mature and violent to Nickelodeon, but sometimes I think it was better that way, because if it had not been canceled, nickelodeon would continue making bad and worse Episodes, like it happening with spongebob right now.

The new Spongebob episodes are falling apart, and now it gets plain annoying, since I have to watch them with my brother. I have to admit, a lot of the shows cancel pretty quickly, or now they just make everything stupid, and pass it off as a joke. Now, whenever I see Nick, I instantly tell myself there is gonna be a fart joke on it.

I agree, Nickelodeon was WAY better in the old days, now it's just filled with gay shows, like the new spongebob, monsters vs aliens, fairly odd parents, rocket monkeys, a fairly odd movie, & other programing,
why can't they go back to their original way of doing programming like the good old days of the 90's, where the programs are good for older kids & teens but is still appropriate for younger kids,
& also, they need to stop rigging the votes in the KCA's so their products can win, just because they won an award, doesn't make them better, so here's my nomination list for best cartoon for 2014:
-My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
-Adventure Time
-Spongebob
-Legend of Korra

i Think your Right My Little Pony Adventure Time SpongeBob and Legend of Korra are awesome and yes i do hate Avatar but now there are Legend of Korra which is still amazing and Yes, My Little Pony is Great for men, Guess what Everyone are still making pony videos everyday yes but knowing about that There are still new SpongeBob Youtube Poops including Old Episodes and New Episodes, atleast Adventure Time should be The Greatest Adventure Show and SpongeBob should be the Awesome Cartoon Show and Comedian for the Kids and Teens and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic should be the Greatest Show for Girls and Men and Teens and EVERYONE
Legend of Korra should be also great for Fans of Korra so yeah They will make these 4 Shows should be the best because if there was a virtual channel it should these 4 shows and awesome shows better than these old Anime Shows they are sucks for the movement and Mouth Moving but atleast these 4 shows have better Movement and Mouth Moving than the Old Anime Shows
