Claire walked into the facility with a little travel suitcase full of clothes and her hair done up special. She met the counter woman, walked to her room, and began switching to the clothes in her travel suitcase. Claire had decided to become a large automation, stylized as a wind up doll. She put on a nice little dress, long gloves and patiently waited.

Within a few minutes a small door opened up in the wall behind her, and a mechanical hand holding a large gold key emerged. The hand stretched out to Claire where the key was gently morphed into her back. Claire started to feel a little cold, but not unpleasant and she closed her eyes.

Methodically the hand began turning the key in her back. With each turn Claire could feel her body hardening, her heart rate dropping, her hair solidifying, and her clothes and body becoming one. As the key cranked she felt her inside turning, and morphing into gears. Eventually the key stopped turning and Clair was now a large meal wind-up doll.

The key was pulled from her back and she opened her eyes to see herself in the mirror. She smiled, and walked closer, her metal feet tinging against the ground. She reached the mirror and felt a very serene. If she stood still and listened very carefully, she could hear her gears turning, it was very much like a heartbeat.
