Hey dude i always wondered something , half life and portal are related , in the 7 hour war , how did the aperture science lab's dint got invaded by the xen aliens or neither the combine?.

Well mainly I think it's because the main facilities of Aperture were very deep underground. They were also kept locked tight so no Xen aliens might have been able to get in there. Aperture headquarters was also a very long way away from Black Mesa and that's around where the portal storms were centered, at least at first. I also think GLaDOS is somehow keeping Aperture's location a secret from the outside world and the Combine. She says as much in this quote from the first game:
"All I know is I'm the only thing standing between us and them. [...]"
