Out of curiosity, I read the synopsis for the new MLP episode. All I gotta say is, wow. Poor Twilight.Mr. Kessler, however, is less sympathetic to the situation.
As for the weeds, that's nothing a few barrels of Agent Orange wouldn't fix.

I agree; the S4 Premiere was a huge mess.
Also in part 2, Equestria has lost it's only means of defense from evil. Smart move, Twilight you've practically doomed everypony for an entire season!

Well, as usual, it seems things were as peaceful as usual for episodes 2 - 24. That went well.
As for the finale, it seems the Mane 6 have a better deal now for the Elements, That Rainbow Power ain't half bad. And all it cost Equestria was a few hours of power stealing and a library. Altogether not bad.

1. Twilight is technically only ruling Equestria because Celestia (and Luna) has vanished (due to said killer weeds).
2. Assuming "that freak" is Discord, he's been free ever since he was released in that one episode last season.
3. Nightmare Moon isn't back. What's in the episode was a flashback to her original rise and banishment.
