So, this is the third of my new Fan of series of Marvel and DC Universe Characters. Here we have Star-Lord it is loosely based on the original 616 version but remixed with the MCU version from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" film (which i'm extremely excited to see soon). The outfit he's wearing in the film is perfectly fine. I'm just having a little fun and like I said before...getting a little practice in. I did an MCU color scheme as well, but I liked the mix between both the old and new colors.
OK..so for those new to the page this "Fan of Marvel NOW" art is a series of quick concepts of "A to D" list characters from the Marvel Universe, picked randomly from the 2014 Updated Marvel Encyclopedia Hardback book I recently purchased. The more mainstream characters may or may not be done but we will see. I'm kinda thinking of how I would have like to see the costumes in the MCU, but most importantly The objective is for me to really get some recreational practice time with my digital arts. Been doing a lot of admin lately and feeling a little less engaged. Need my art mojo back. I wil be doing some DC characters when requested but mostly the "C" and "D" list characters since we see the "A" and "B" characters often. Love'em all the same though.

Next up is a tribute redesign based on deviant artist Mur2008 version of "Superwoman". With some influences of Johnnyharadrim's render. Loved Mur2008's design. Check out Mur2008's deviations when you can.
