Description

Reference pics for my hatchling dragons, the youngest offspring of my main dragon characters.

I decided to put them all together as a group, since there's a number of them and they're not as developed as their parents.

From left to right:

Flicker ♂ — the youngest son of Pyrrhus & Fflamwen and youngest of all the dragon kids, having hatched last, not too long before the dragons first set out on their quest for the Isle of Dragons.

Here he can be seen enjoying a leg of roast meat. Fire dragons prefer their food nicely cooked.

Flayre ♀ — the youngest daughter of the fire dragons and Flicker's older brother by minutes, having broken out of her egg first.

She seems to have snagged a piece of coal from Ignis' forge to play with. Naturally, fire can't burn a fire dragon.

Flís ♂ — the oldest son of Jökull & Ískona and second-oldest of the dragon kids.

Aged about 33 years old, he is still considered a child in dragon age-ranges. As such, he's not above having fun when the opportunity arises, despite ice dragons hiding their extreme emotions under their cold exterior. He already has a strong arm for a snowball fight.

Flögur ♂ — the younger son of the ice dragons and Flís' young brother by about five years.

He's still a young child in terms of years and still hasn't quite broken the habit of sucking his claw when he's anxious. Like a lot of young ice dragons, he enjoys frozen treats.

Ngaru ♂ — the oldest son of Nikau & Kailani and oldest of all the dragon kids, aged around 40 years.

Very much taking after his father's easygoing nature, he was quick to befriend the other dragon kids when the company first arrived at their island.

Kahe ♀ & Kahawai ♀ — the twin-sisters of Ngaru and youngest of the sea dragons, although a few years older than the fire dragon hatchlings.

They are an energetic pair who keep Nikau very much on his fins, but there's no harm in their mischief.

They have a developing friendship with Flicker and Flayre, but soon realise that fire and water should have as much a healthy respect for each other and both should have for ice.
