Back at Retsubnad's castle, we find his faithful gryphon Thoronraw turning in for the night, as he yawns and stretches before settling down on his soft bedding. This is also one of the only times he's seen without his waistcoat (the other only time being bath-night), since he doesn't like anyone seeing the old scars on his back from when he was a captive attraction in a travelling freak-show.
