So some weeks back, I started going through my Redwall books again, starting with the newer ones - and I started with the Taggerung!
And I really wanted to draw Tagg and Nimbalo again - partly since I've improved a lot since that dated old hand-drawn pic.
So here they are - the big otter, Tagg, and his little harvest mouse friend, Nimbalo, chatting away merrily as they wonder along through Mossflower Woods together.
Taggerung 'Tagg' Zann Juskarath (or just plain Deyna) and Nimbalo the Slayer are Copyright © Brian Jacques.
Though the art is my own work.

I've actually thought of reading yer fanfic, though I've got too little time, as I spend much of it with my friends.

Well, I was talking about actual saleable stories, as opposed to fan-fiction!
That and there may still be other things to work on, like that old Sonic & Danbuster series that was laid to rest for a while (as I worked to finish Hydrex Adventure) and was never continued since I didn't get the last voice-files I needed.

Danbuster Cameronean Leadboot is my main hare-character... but the thing is that he's independent of Sonic or Redwall - I've been trying to develop my cast as my own world... sort of a contemporary Britain with animals!

Ah, good book. I remember the fox warlord, he was awesome but met a pretty crappy ending. Ah well.

although i'm not famillar with them, they certainly look like a pretty cool duo. Tagg looks like some sort of Rambo character XD. I like the details and the shading.

And of course, I had the artistic license with Tagg. He's described with the barkcloth kilt, tribal tattoos and being a big otter - I threw in the six-pack since he's meant to be a very physical warrior-type!

Nice Work! "The Taggarung" was the first book I read of Redwall and it remains as one of my all time favourites!
