An entry for the Valentine's Day contest.I had actually had this idea in mind while away in Scotland, but then I found that the Shadow fan-club I recently joined was doing this contest. So that gave me a good excuse to actually draw it now!
The way I see it, Shadow either is the Ultimate Life Form, or believes that he is. As such, he is tortured by this inner turmoil.
Surely, he's immortal, he's the Ultimate Life Form, he's not supposed to have emotions... what troubles him so much is that he does have emotions, but he feels it's a weakness to show them. He knows he has feelings for his friend, Rouge the Bat, but has no idea how to approach her.
However, Rouge seems to sense his feelings and decides to break the ice.
Rouge: I do care for you, Shadow...
Shadow: I know...

Wel in most of my flash movies about Sonic and the others, Team dark split up majorly because Shadow and Rouge end up hating each other to the extreme. And of course you'll know why team rose split up. It'll probably be my first flash movie

It was in this game I first met Shadow and Rouge... (and Amy, Cream, Big, Vector, Espio, Charmy, etc...)
IMO, it is a good game, but I tend to be more at risk of falling off the level (instant lose, like falling to the bottom of the screen) than from Eggman's actual robots!
