Description
A concept sketch of a Blackstar infantry uniformUnlike the Infantry kit , this style of uniform is worn by the "baseline" underclass who join the military (or are conscripted into it). Whereas the former are spared no expense, these soldiers are seen as essentially expendable and have to make do with whatever equipment comes to hand.

*Helmet (Unknown squiggle)
*Filter mask/cloth facemask (optional)
*Patched-up, old surplus uniform

*Desert Cammo (One has to wonder what that entails on their marginal homeworld)
*Optional kneepads

Considering that they're analogous to National Guard forces in some ways, you'd expect the bulk of their work to involve military police duties in the arcologies.

Probably. While my notes are very incomplete, I suspect that they did a lot of MP work. In such cases, their shabby gear wouldn't be too much of a hindrance.
