Hey everyone!
I'm not sure how I got into posting on Fridays of all days, but here's a new DEAD DAYS! I guess I just hate holding on to finished comics till Sundays. I figure the sooner I deliver the funny the better.

So, keeping with the one-shots motif, here's a new random strip about women at the gym. More specifically, Sandy at the gym. I initially wrote this as part of the "Her Way" series, but figured holding it for the future would be better. This is based something I witness all too often whilst workin' out. Men think the gym is some sort of nightclub (it must be the blaring techno music and sweaty bodies) and think it's cool to hit on the poor women who are just trying to burn a few calories or build their calves.

In other news, one of my favorite bands of all time, "The Rentals" charitably came to my town last night to play an amazing gig! It's was a tiny venue and there were only about 30 people there (which was a bummer and cool at the same time). They're gearing up to go on a big-o tour and they used my, usually musically devoid, city as a warm-up gig! And WHAT A GIG! They played all their best songs: most of "Return of the Rentals," the best "7 More Minute" tracks and some great new stuff! Afterward Matt Sharp (frontman and ex-Weezer) and the gang hung around and shot the shit with everyone. Awesome show. Sarah and I had a blast. Check them out if they swing by your town!
