decay of destiny is a spinoff of an illustration which i did for the cd cover of the danish band illnath. the wounded angel is also on the inlay of their first fullfeature album, only in a rather classic surrounding, and i decided to develop the idea and put her in a modern ambience.i worked on this compositing for a horribly long time, mainly because i really enjoyed the general look and therefore tried to make it as good as possible.

This is some thought-provoking imagery..
As I look at it, I'm wondering why her mouth is covered so she can't speak- what is it she would say that someone would stifle her expression?
Also the wing looks to be rudimentary in nature, atrophied as if she can no longer fly.. and turned to stone on top of it all..
Against the backdrop of mech-society dregs scenery, it gives me the feeling that she has failed in her destiny- hence the title..
It gets my vote..

the overall feel is appropriately effective and comes through thanks to the broad way in which you treated this. it's not polished, which gives it more of a natural feel. the pictures on the shirt are a great detail.
