Last night my brother came to me from his Pathfinder session (he's the GM), with what he thought was a moral conundrum.

First, the fact that his party doesn't have a Cleric is fucking stupid, and we both agree on that, but he was not remembering what group he is working with. The group with the guy who killed a squirrel with a flail that has fire, lightning, and frost enchantments because he could.

Then after admitting that he forgot how the group was, he still gave an analogy "If hell were to burst open, they would try working together, not go all 'every man for himself'", but then I once again reminded him that the party has fully absorbed the murder-hobo lifestyle.

Moral of the story: don't get your hopes for meaningful roleplay up, because they will be let down.
