Description
Rose in her true unicorn form whispering who-knows-what to her daughter Ivy. I was pleased with this pic when I completed it, but looking at it now makes me realize that either Ivy is very tall for her age(she's supposed to be around 12 here) or Rose is a really, -really- small unicorn. Well, unicorns ARE supposed to be smaller than average horses, the traditional unicorn anyway :3 They're supposed to be small.

So cute! I think the proportions of the girls are just fine, really. If you hadn't brought it up, we wouldn't have thought anything of the sort.

It's not just the hight, it's also Ivy's body. It's too defined for a 12 year old. Next time you draw her at that age, just add less curves and not as much detail., and you'll have it right. Also, hight is still a concern.
I really like how this one came out. Their eyes are so darling, and as usual I love how you colored and shaded this piece. You're really talented. ^^

Horses were the first things I ever drew, and to this day I always get something off on the anatomy. Horses are about the most difficult animals to draw, I hear. And it ain't no lie, I tell you what!

Oh-hoho!!! Ivy's dad is to die for..... messy brown hair that's tied back, brown cat ears wiff black tips, and bright blue eyes...OH! and the kitty tail *melts* his name's Gaius. I got a couple pics of him in the works!

Wow! thats really cute! and professional. I love how the soft shading is just overlapped by a darker shadow, and how your colours seem to taper off into the other colours, like the pink on the end of the unicorns muzzle, or the blue on the end of Ivy's tail. Plus i love the shade colour used for white. It adds shade and demension without becoming distracitng from the rest of the soft tones. Do you go through alot of preporation when you do a piece like this? Or are you so acustomed its easy to make the piece off the top of your head?
