If Jake and Beta are built done with tweens, this is the kind of artwork to expect. I need to play with Beta's hair still, that didn't come out as well as I wanted it to. Tell me what you guys think, I'd rather fix things up early before I continue building the Vector Model.
Whenever I make a model, the first animation test I do is a walking pattern. Why? It involves a lot of movement and is very prediction on how to animate it.
This is Beta's Model as of now. She is no where near done just so you all know. I still got 4 more angles to build before I can do interesting animation tests. And then I also have a few more angles to build to make her completely 360. For now, side pose.
I'll update this instead of making more animation tests in the future for Jake and Beta's series.

The arms need to sway in time with the leg movements. Apart from that, it's a good cycle.

I think I know what your talking about. I'm not quite sure though. I was marching around the room when I started this test. I decided to march again. It's getting a little confusing though XD

Not quite there dude.
Think about when you walk/run/march/whatever; As you left leg moves forward, as does your right arm and it tends to be in time with each other. The arms don't look like they're following the movements of the legs. It seems to be when the legs reach the front, the arm is still paralel to the body when it should be forward.
If that made any sense, well done! LOL!

Which is odd since they start and end on the same frames O.o...
Alright... I'll try to Annalise it closer. Swore I did that already. If worse comes to worse this is merely a test animation at least. So no big deal XD

I think this has turned into one of those "you gotta figure it out on your own" type moments. When it comes to the abilities of Flash, I am about as useful as wet toilet paper.

Bawww she's adorable. :> The hairbits are already good as of now, so if you aren't even done with them they're going to be made of awesomesauce when finished. I think the tweening animation style will look just fine.

Thankies. Yeah I just need to see if there's a way to make the movement look more realistic yet fluid. This is actually the third time I did her hair. The first two were FBF but it ended up looking like it was having a spasm. Sometimes animating parts can get confusing.
Good good. I sure hope it is. I want to get some pretty advanced animation in there though so it'll take a while to get all the positions right!
