I started watching Steven Universe a couple of days ago. I'm really liking the show, so I decided to do a piece of fanart of Garnet, my favourite Gem. Started working on this two days ago, so I'm pretty happy with the end results.

I actually watched a couple of episodes when it had just got out and while I didn't dislike the show, it didn't really grab me. Then I started hearing a lot of fuzz about it and wanted to give it another shot. I have to admit that the show starts off pretty slow and it takes a while before you get to the meat of what it has to offer. Once you get past the early episodes it starts to become pretty great with a lot of character defining moments that help with the world building. Definitely one of the better cartoon shows currently airing.

Can't help but getting sucked in. The show keeps getting better and better for every episode and it's surprisingly complex with the kinds of emotions the characters deal with. It's pretty great, I have to say.
