Personality: Jules is a woman who's very down to earth and often has an old-sister kind of vibe about her despite having been a sole child for her entire life. She can be quite playful with both guys and girls alike, specially when she knows there's something that embarrasses them, but is never ill-intended and will apologize if she feels she has wronged them somehow. She can be very amiable and protective to those that get to know her, but can also be very assertive and severe when the situation demands it. For example, when she's the one to lead a training session of some sort, or when someone needs a good scolding. She greatly values camaraderie and family, and to her the whole clan were her family. Specially her neighbors, the anfuhrer Leonard Cyriuz' family.

While normally not aggressive, Jules can be prone to violent ourbursts which more often than not are the result of an aggression [normally a physical one] towards her. However these are not part of her natural personality but rather a result of the dark mana influence in her psyche, a common trait among those who had the misfortune of being born with it as their primary affinity. When she's on her best state of mind though, she has a particular opinion in regards to violence: "Normally is not necessary, but the world can't actually work without it". Jules is also very self-conscious of this particular issue. So much that it drove her to self-exile from the clan when the war against the Great Desert started, just so she wouldn't be an easy target and cause anyone on her side to become casualties. In spite of that, she hated to have taken that decision even if she felt it was the correct one in her mind, for she felt like a coward that betrayed her family, even when she did it to indirectly protect them. As a form of self-punishment, when she worked to get herself her legal papers, she changed her name from Jules Cyriuz to Jules Vernal, as a bitter reminder of those she left behind.

Of all the things that usually can embarrass a girl, being naked in front of someone is not one of them in Jules case. Reason for this is that, like most Cyriuz, she was trained to not be embarrassed of the human body at all, and specially not of her's. And sometimes she likes using this to her advantage when it comes to make someone go beet red for her own amusement.

- Expert Hand-To-Hand Combatant - As with majority of her clan, Jules was trained to be perfectly adept in barehanded combat. Her style in particular revolves around slams and damaging the joints.

- Cyriuz Bloodrage - When the dark mana influence gets the best of her, Jules enters into a stage frustration akin to go berserk. Her Durability, Strength and Speed are enhanced tenfold thanks to her raw raging mana. However, she partially loses control of herself and can't really think of the consequences of her actions during that state. Unlike Dante, however, she can get out of such stage at will since not all of her inhibitors go down.

- Jules is vegetarian since she was 10 years old. However, she will eat meat if she needs to.
