RIP ISI Queen Bee

Since it is mothers day, I thought I'd draw the mother who started it all, Bee She recently passed away at ISI and it has been really hard on the staff They had been pulling out old pictures of when she first came to ISI and pictures of before her ISI days so I thought I'd tell you the story of how she came about to start ISI

Surprisingly enough, Bee wasn't always an ISI warmblood. She was originally owned and bred by a small lesson barn in Wellington, FL. Her mom was a backyard retired horse and her dad was a fancy dressage stallion that they decided to breed together. Little did they know what little filly they would bring about.

Little Bee was really attached to her mother when she was young. She just thought her mom was the greatest thing there ever was! When she had to be weaned, it just about broke her heart. She was trailered up to Ocala to another barn who specialized in training young horses. She remembered her mom and how great those times were together and she swore that if she ever became a mom, she would make the most out of it.

Training her was pretty simple. She responded really well and was very willing to learn from these people who gave her treats! Over the next couple years at that barn, she grew to love some of the people there, one of them being Melody Claire. Her mom, Sandra, really wanted to start her own barn back home in Wellington and Melody knew just the thing!

Melody had been working at this barn for a couple years while she went to school up there and decided to give her mom a call. She told her about this mare that might be capable of starting the barn they have always wanted to do. She also got a picture of her in the pasture (pictured above) and sent it to her. Her mom finally agreed and had her trailered down to begin what is known as today as In Sync International!
