Sinuwa, NepalAnnapurna Base Camp Trek
Something different from me this week. While I was in Nepal, I actually took many many more portrait shots than landscape shots. Two things other than the scenery stuck me as I was walking through the villages. Firstly, all of the metalwork and rooves were painted blue (not sure why?) and children were on the whole very happy to have their picture taken. Some for reward, some for just looking on the LCD. This little girl made it a habit to dance for guests of the tea house we were staying in. I caught her coming out of the dining room with snacks before breakfast!

ItΒ΄s a wonderful portrait of a wonderful and charming little girl. The colors are a knock out for the eye. You got a perfect focus and sharpness on the girl. Thanks heaven for that. The unsharp blue wall gives the eye a little rest. Just to look at for a second and then go back to the girl. Keep this photo as a treasure! It is!
